}} Barbara Pearl Jones (later Slater, born March 26, 1937) is a retired American athlete, who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics and in the 1960 Summer Olympics. She lives in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Jones competed for the United States at the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland, where she won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 m relay with her teammates Mae Faggs, Janet Moreau and Catherine Hardy.
